Well, not exactly for snakes but in support of keeping them. I breed my own rats and have various watering systems from hoses to water bottles. By far, I like the hoses. But if you have a water bottle setup, you may have encountered times when the rodents have chewed through the ends of the water bottle. Here’s a tip to keep them from doing this. Cut out a circle in a piece of tin a little larger than the water bottle. Then cut a hole in the center of the tin just large enough for the nozzle of the water bottle. Put then nozzle through the tin and then into a screen hole and now, they can’t chew through the water bottle.

Great tip Jay. I just use big washers from the local hardware store. You can get them for a dime or so. It works really well.
