Freckled pyton, mating information wanted!

Roger_Sweden Dec 02, 2005 10:14 AM

Hi!

I recently bought a very nice pair of M. Mackloti. Male is almost 8 feet and female is over 9 feet long. They have a very calm behaviour and are easy to handle. I have only found the basic facts and nothing on how to make them reproduce.

Does anyone in here know much about freckled pyton mating, or can you refer to a site with this content?

Thanks,
Roger Kjellman - Sweden

Mine mated last year. 6' male, 5' female (his daughter). Normal breeding, not much cooling down on these. She's much larger this year, and there has already been breeding. Now is a good time to put them together. I'd keep them separate unless breeding. My female last year produced 11 eggs, 4 were fertile. It was her first clutch. As a whole, they breed pretty easily.
