Some chucks do like bugs, but plants should make up the bulk of their diet. One of my chucks won't touch bugs, but the other loves them so I give him a few as a treat now and then.

Here are a few pages with lists of edible plants:

http://ourgardengang.tripod.com/edibleflowers.htm
http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html

Here are some plants I grow / pick and regularly give my chucks:

Dandelion (leaves & flowers)
Pansey (flowers)
Hibiscus (flowers)
Moss rose (flowers)
Nasturtium (leaves and flowers)
Mint (leaves)
Alfalfa (leaves)
Gazania (heard them mentioned, but weren't a hit)
Wild raddish (flowers)
Mustard (flowers)
Sweet alyssum (leaves and flowers)
Plantain (leaves)
Cosmos (the lavender ones)
Cat's ear (Hypochaeris sp.) these are dandelion like flowers, because of their smaller size though, they're really good for little chucks
Mustard (flowers)

Nasturtiums are a big favorite and grow really fast, so I definately recommend getting a pot of them going. Dandelions come up in most lawns and are loved, just make sure herbicides / insecticides aren't in use.

The easiest way to post pictures is to sign up for a free kingsnake photo gallery: http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/login.php?action=upload&cat=557

Once you've uploaded your pics they will appear in the "OR Select Images from Photo Gallery:" box that appears at the bottom of the page when you post.
