Hey there! Do you still need help (with the non-feeding corns)? Let me know - I can come over. E-mail me your address and I could stop by tomorrow (I'm going into town anyway)

they still are refusing to eat, im working tomorrow not sure yet of what time i will be getting off..... we are short at work again.... one quit, one got fired for theft, one got fired for arguing with residents, and one is on vacation.

Sorry to hear that! I was hoping I could show you my set up - And I don't even use UTH's!!! Just the right temps and conditions/cages/locations . . . My baby corns eat: In the middle of winter; Even when they're blue(in pre-shed mode)!

thank goodness my baby is eating well...
the other 2 naaza and degei are the 2 who have refused, they are both almost 3 ft, i never changed the temps, i did in the past few weeks raise them from 88 to 90 to see if they would eat, neither snake would, so i brought the temps back to where i had them 88 and 77

88 seems a little high to me.... it's possible that they won't eat because they are uncomfortably warm...?

they dont go over to the heated side, even when i had the heated side to 80, but i think it is running about 85

BlueKing Dec 04, 2005 11:19 AM

I keep my temps between 82-84 during daytime, and 75 at night everytime (In summer it's 84-88 during daytime and 78 at nights), I use no UTH's, heatlamps or any other source of heat. I keep my house temps to my snakes' liking - my wife of 21 years doesn't mind. She's from S. GA. and likes a warm house!
