Pueblan milksanke-question about origins

onenicesnake Dec 02, 2005 10:46 PM

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how pueblans entered the hobby? ( I believe the "founder stock" is comprised of only a few animals but I was wondering if anyone could expand on this.)
And my last question: the white band versus apricot-are they found together in the same population or do they represent seperate populations? If anyone out there can answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Campbelli were brought into the US by a few individuals and popularized by Bob Applegate in the early 80's.

The Apricot and Orange pueblans were created by selectively breeding select specimens to enhance the Apricot/Orange banding.

Oreos, apricots, halloweens, etc. don't come from seperate populations. They are all mutations stemming from several generations of selectively breeding the original founder stock.
