I know I'm gonna get flamed for asking this. But I've been searching for 3 days now, and apparently i'm more of an idiot than I thought cause I just cannot find the info.

Anyways, I was wondering what signs to look or that a female ball is gravid. I have a 1475g female I recently acquired, and I'm thinking something is up as 2 weeks ago when I first got her she weighted just over 1300g...to go up that much in not even 2 weeks is a little weird to me. Also, she was in the same tank as a male in the pet store I found her in. They both were left there by the same person, but nobody knows if that's how he housed them.

It's a good question as many experienced breeders may find it difficult to answer. One of the best indicators of whether the female is gravid is a huge mid-body swelling, but you could have missed that as the swelling does go down in about 24 hours.

It may be your best bet to treat her as gravid, wait for the shed, and if she's gravid she sould lay eggs in 24-34 days. Best Wishes- Deb @
