A sad day...

Camlon Reptiles Dec 03, 2005 10:05 AM

Diana and I had to put down our little Scottie, Abbey last night and I guess I just wanted to share with all those that new she was sick. Thanks for all the kind words and we know she's released from her sick little body and in a better place.

Very, very sorry for your loss, Debra & Diana. Pets are as much a part of family as people are. I'm sure the time you shared together was blessed - here's to brighter days ahead.

Regards,

Kara

I'm very sorry to hear about Abbey. It's never easy to lose a member of the family. Just remember, don't be sad because she's gone, instead smile because she was part of your lives for a while.

My condolences ladies. A decision like that is never easy even when you know in your heart it's necessary.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Under a dead ohio sky,
Eleven has been and will be waiting,
Defending his light,
And wondering...
Where the hell have I been?
Sleeping, lost, and numb.
So glad that I have found you.
I am wide awake and heading home.

I hadn't been aware that you were dealing with a sick pet, but I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Our little friends are a blessing in many ways, but losing them is tough.

Best hopes,

Bill

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Debra & Diana,

I would like to express my condolence on your loss. Our pets definitely become part of our family. Abbey was truly blessed to have caring owners like you.

Feel Better,

Tony.

Although I love my snakes, my dog is truly the only critter I have that I would let sleep in my bed.

I feel your loss, and I hope you both find solace in the fact that she is in a better place now.

God bless.

and allowing us to post this off topic subject to all you our friends, and even to you "Vip3ridae" for stating the obvious even during a bad time for Diana and me. We were off topic and you're right, but the outpouring of caring we received far outweighs any negative energy that was sent out.

Debra, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.. I too had to put my oldest American Bulldog Romeo down a few weeks ago, he was 9 1/2 , it still bothers me when I think about it, but as you said they are in a better place and I truely agree with you on that fact, to see a animal in pain is not an easy thing to take... Take care, Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles..

Sorry for your loss.

It is unbelievable how deep the furry critters can burrow into our hearts...and like everyone else says, remember the good things.

Very sorry to hear that.

I lost my best friend Vinny March 28th 1998. He was the best dog Ive ever had and I still cant bring myself to get another one. I even had him cremated and kept the ashes.

Best of luck to you both
