Week In Review!!!

toshamc Dec 03, 2005 06:19 PM

After tossing around names for a week – its now officially called the Mystic Ball! Best of luck with them Anthony!

Ebay auction albino ball in a jar – some found it repulsive some found it amusing. The snake sold for $35 plus shipping.

Brain teaser from Dr. Scott. Who even knew females had plugs!?!?!? Ya learn something new every day.

After several attempts to escape from the ball python world – Chris has once again found himself pulled back in. I can’t help but say I told you so, again Chris. Now go play with your corns.

What to do if your snake out lives you. First of all pat yourself on the back for providing a great home for your little ones. Second – you can ship them to me – specially any morphs or big females. I plan on living forever.

Lotsa posts this week about snakes that are aggressive or are otherwise beginning to get pissy – remember people – this is their hibernation time – they don’t really want to be disturbed – and yes – there are some balls that don’t really appreciate your love, all the handling in the world will not “fix” them – when in doubt see NERDs new book on all python keeping and the Godzilla reference.

Is my snake gay???? – dontcha just love this question? They’re just “experimenting” it’s a college thing. Next time be sure they are asleep while you watch Will and Grace.

Big long drawn out post about setting up a mouse colony …hmmm that one got outta hand pretty quick.

Welcome to Ball Pythons Anonymous

The perfect morph ?!?!?!?!?

Important lesson to be learned – even big breeders will have import or captive hatched animals on their table at shows – please ask before purchasing if the animal you are buying fall under the hard to maintain category.

Compatibility between hypos – there was a time when it was a pretty simple answer – but with the amount of imports and new lines as of late – it’s a toss up!

HOT OFF THE PRESSES: NERDs book is finally here and its not just another coffee table book!!!

Jays Tip of the Week #8 – How to keep those rats from chewing at the water bottles

Debra and Diana lost their Beloved Abbey – we are all truly sorry for your loss.

Someones got an eye for nice snakes!

A new twist to the coke can shot!

Nice start to the season! Great Project!
