Built a Rack and question about temp

Rottenweiler9 Dec 03, 2005 09:11 PM

I built my first rack. I am using the four ft rubbermaids and have two of them. Is 87 degrees a good temp to have. It is pretty consistent except in the way back and that is around 90 - 89. I am afraid to lower it to 85 because then it will not get warmer in the back. Is this a good consistent temp to have?

Thank you

Jeff

87 is a little warm. 80-82 is a good average with a surface temp. on the basking end around 95 give or take a few degrees.
