MEAL WORMS GOT IN OK

kurma Jul 23, 2003 01:30 PM

Just got my 1000 meal worms from LLL reptiles they were shipped monday and are doing good should last me along time
They cam ein two deli cups alot smaller than I'd expect I guess I though 1000 would seem like more. So how often will there bedding/food need to be replaced?

Thats good so I'll be all set for awhile after today
So do many change into beatals?
Is it better to have the container open oor closed?
I'm have a rubber maid tub that about 35 gallons indise that I have a 1 gallon tub for cirkets just incase they get out they still in the tub. So I have plenty of room to just put the meal works in a 1 gallon tub ( is that big enough about the size of tub I will use) inside too and since it inside the big tub I rather just have it open with no top

I keep my mealworms in wheat bran mix with mealworm food that I get from Walkabout Farm and I change the wheat bran out when it turns into dust which usually is about a week. Give them a piece of carrot or potato they love that stuff.
