I just got a new tegu from the atlanta reptile show. right now i have a newspaper substrat, is it ok to us potting soil

News paper is bad. Tegus love to burrow. Use cypress mulch. You can use soil with nothing in it no chemicals or anything. Trym to mix cypress mulch with dirt. Good luck with the tegu what type is it?

The cypress mulch is good but about a year ago a breeder told me about coconut bark. It�s a lot cleaner and hold humidly longer.
