Why is it that ball python morphs are so expensive? Are there any morphs that are under $300?

Because they are cool looking......
and that's what people will pay for them.
The same reason Levi 501's cost more than Rustlers. They will all do the same job of covering your body. It just depends on what you like and what you are willing to pay for it. Some people like the extras ..to be flashy and have something different, something that stands out. Some people are ok with just the basic.

Because people see the animals as an investment, so they're willing to put a few extra bucks on the table because they think they can get it all back in a few years anyway.
Don't you wish your motorcycle could do that? Buy two, sell five in 3 years...

I think they look great, that's why I bought them. No plans on breeding them, I just enjoy looking at them.
