Swollen mouth please HELP

na Dec 04, 2005 04:55 PM

I have a pied that I just got and she has a swollen lower mouth. It doesn't look like mouth rot and she is not wheezing. I have a vet apt., but wondering if anyone might have a clue as to what is is and what will be done to help her. Also if she will heal fast and become healthy again.

PLEASE ANY info can help

I also have a pied and he has had mouth trouble for almost a year now. The first vet gave him baytril, it made it better and he ate, then it got bad again I went back in, he perscriber another round of baytril another $100, still not gone. I finaly got in to see Roger Klingenberg he put him on Fortaz (? Spelling), 2 rounds of that now he is on amiglyde and clavamox. I do not know if I can get rid of this now or not but the frist vet did me no favors, it got worce and now this por guy has been trough the ringer. I hope you have a really good vet and he takes care of your trouble the first time because it gets harder the worce it gets.
