ok at petsmart there is a light fixture for 29.99 it already includes a "super UV light" it says its a 7% dessert light. its called ESU Reptile Slimline Light Strip.http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTprd_id=845524441780323&FOLDERfolder_id=2534374302023694&ASSORTMENTast_id=2534374302023694&bmUID=1133755172328
try that to ge4t a more detiled view of what im talking about. i was wondering if that would be sufficent for UVB if i get him within 10" of the light.

Another question is has anyone ever used Exo TErra Bearded dragon pellots? i got them to mix into his salad and he seamed to eat some it. i was just wondering if this would help keep his nutrition up.

Not familier with teh ESU bulbs but 7% desert light doesn't mean squat. What you need is UVB light. If a product maker won't clearly state what p ercentage of UVB light it produces...I personally would be reluctant to purchase it. The Exo-terra and Zoo Med repti lights are good and highly recommended. (can't remember which company makes repti-glo and repti-sun) The 8.0s or 10.0's are good.
