If things go smooth.. they shouldn't change...
maybe in the last day they start to sweat and you can see some movement...
Anyway, no, they shouldnt change...
p.d. candlle them in 4 days to see if they are red(fertile) or yellow(infertile)

Actually, they will change...All my fertile, hatching eggs have swelled in size... not an amazing amount but its a noticeable size change throughout the incubating process... this is natural as they pull moisture from the incubating substrate which is why the shells are as porous as they are...and why the humidity is so important...But their size will change over the course of time... Candling can be done before you even put them in the incubator. If they're fertile... the eggs will have a small red bullseye shaped area showing through the shell.. if they aren't fertile.. they'll be yellow all the way through.... Within 4 days you'll see veins starting to spiderweb on the inside of the shell. After this point I pretty much leave them alone until near hatching date when I'll candle one more time to check for movement of the embryo within... and then I wait for them to hatch...

hey guys,
well one of my geckos laid 2 eggs yesterday, i wasnt expecting this at all, i noticed she was a bit fatter the usual, but i thought it was just cause she is growing, well the egs are dented, on all sides, it appears she tryed to lay them in the moist hide, but that has paper, she dug it up, but its not deep, so she laid them on the substrate,(outdoor carpeting) on the warm side, im guessing these eggs are invaluble?
i plan on getting a Hovabator, any suggestion? also how do i control the temps with it?
