Brook's question...

crimsonking Jul 23, 2003 02:06 PM

This guy is from a clutch laid by a bright yellow hypo Brook's female. After checking my records, I find that I had her in with BOTH a patternless yellow hypo AND a 2x het/ghost male. I figured if some were hypo but not all, then the 2x is the father of the babies. If all were hypos then the patternless is the sire. At any rate the others have not shed to see how light they are, and I thought this guy was an odd shade of "brown" w/ coppery highlights. Anyone else with this coloring in the mix?

I have owned Hypo's like that. In fact I had one identical to that snake it was kinda of a deeprich red/brown. It ended up looking pretty nice actually.

Those are both absolutely gorgeous animals!! Both look to me to be "intergrade" kings (L. g. getula x floridana), but being CB I won't even try to sort that out. I just appreciate you sharing the pics!! michaelb
