You could put two males together for a few minutes until the combat starts. One could be injured. I guess I wouldn't put males together at all. The over-achiever could succeed if you leave him with female for a few days. They could mate when you're not around. The other male could also mate successfully under the same conditions. I leave Eastern and Texas pairs together for at least three days and just stay out of their way. Good luck.

I will try them for a few days now... My female seem to cooperate so maby a couple days will help. I was afraid for injuries so i separate them after a few hours of non success. 2 nights ago i leaved them together for all night and at the morning i saw them sleeping together so maby he success. Du you suggest me to breed the female with the 2 males in different occasions. Can we see female ovulation like boa or we have to guess the time to put them together? Any other good info i need to know for a success year?
Thank's you very much, it's appreciated.

Since you have two males to work with I'd give them each a few turns up to bat between now and end of January. On the other hand, a longterm successful breeder recently told me that he gives a female two good matings about four days apart and then considers her done.

Funny thing about your comment. This being my first time breeding Easterns I observed this.

I have put my Easterns together 6 times.

The first 2 times absolutely nothing.

The next 3 times I observed contact. Two of them quiet lengthy (7 and 8 hours). The third time only about an hour and she broke contact.

And now yesterday my female is tail flipping the male. That observed behavior more or less tells me she is done with him.

That other breeder you mentioned may be right on the mark. Two good hook ups and call it done. I don’t know? I’m just glad he bred with her and didn’t try to eat her…LOL.

Interesting…Dann
