I've had my first leo for about 6 months now. She was brought from Petco at about 4 or 5 inches, from tip of nose to end of tail. She wouldn't eat the crickets, and seemed the mealies were just barely being eaten to keep her just alive.
I brought a Blizzard from a local pet store in New Orleans, and he is thriving. He was about 2 inches when I brought him, which was one month after Sahara(Petco Leo). Eating like a monster and growing like a wild weed, he's passed up Sahara in size, he sheds
This is the problem.
Sahara seems to not have grown AT ALL. She struggles to eat her superworms, meaning she will attempt to strike it 4 or 5 times before she actually gets the worm. I've never seen her shed, and she is exactly the same size as she was when she was first brought.
It's like she has some depth perception problem, and is stuck in juvi life form.
She has always seemed calm and collected, where Ghost was really jumpy when I first got him. Any suggestions?
