Im new here and at snakes, just curious if anyone is from La. too.I live in SE La.St Tammany parish.I never seen a wild corn around here, but never really looked. And I have been in the woods a lot growimg up.I would be kinda leary lifting up tree logs and stuff because there is a lot of copperheads and cottonmouths.

Does SE La. have any variety of wild corns,or are they just normal looking?

The ones in the north part of your county are typically very light orange. Nice. The ones to the south are darker and more "normal blah" looking. head over to St. Francis and you'll see the ones with lots of yellow, so they actually look "greenish" colored. Very unique - at least some of them are.

ALL of them, in my experience, have babies that are VERY difficult to get eating on unscented mice. I stopped keeping them for that reason!
