Every time a real discussion takes place on this forum it either gets deleted or moved?

Enough already. I have better things to do with my time. I have enjoyed my discussions with Frank and Co and would like to continue. If anyone has a suggestion for an alternate venue please contact me via e-mail.

Hi Phil, I too enjoyed them, as they make me think as well.

I have no problem with them being deleted as long as we get to read them first. I think of forums as conversation and not literature, even though you read it. As conversation, its best to move on to the next part and not dwell on what was already said.

I rarely go back more then a day, I did with some of our conversations but normally I leave yesterday alone.

So what are they doing?

I get the feeling the way these forums are arranged is very confining and not the best approach. So far, these forums are slow, so they do not need to be split up. I imagine it only makes for more work for KS, so maybe the ones doing it, want to keep their job. Cheers FR

I'm with you on that Frank. All these sub-forums make no sense to me at all. Sometimes I'm away for a day or two and when I get back as often as not the entire thread is gone or moved. I value the thoughts you guys have and its disappointing to come back to the forum only to see the entire discussion gone. I can not understand why the KS mods feel it necessary to do this. Phil

While these forums aren't exactly literature, I like knowing that they are available for reference. I'm new to the hobby, and I like being able to search past subjects. I also like being able to keep links to questions that I've asked and the answers that I've received. Rather than having posts deleted, I'd prefer that threads be filed in subforums after a week or so but that initial posts remain on the main boards.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

I think the sub forums would be okay if they were voluntary but I hate when they move a thread from here to one of them. And moving FR's posts is about the worst thing I have seen yet here. Although some of them were just about snakes in general thanks to those threads I had the best year ever in getting my kingsnake hatchlings to feed and stopped one of my kings from chronicly rubbing it's nose. If anything they should have copied them and put them in every forum because the whole concept of offering captives choices based on thier natural habitat is applicable to all herps.
