I need some information about Macklots pythons. I cannot find a lot of information on the web, nor can I find some breeders. I'm looking into getting another medium sized python or boa. And I thought of a Macklots python and was looking for some stats about them. Size? Temperment? Requirements? Etc.

They are very similar to Savu (or Sawu) pythons. Their care sheets should be practically interchangable.

They are the same species, just different subspecies as Sawu Pythons, however, Macklot's Pythons get 2-3 times bigger than Sawu's do(~8 ft for female Macklot's versus ~4 ft for female Sawus), so tank size needs to be adjusted accordingly.

Easy to care for, good temperment, feed well, and easy to breed. No special care.
