What is a good Cricket Food?!?!

9200 Dec 05, 2005 10:59 PM

I have been using Flukers Orange Cubes as cricket food and they seem to like it a lot!! I was just wondering what you more experienced professionals thought about this product and the nutrients for my beardies, is it good for gutloading???!!!

I have never used that Fluker stuff. Due to many reasons I personally don't use any of Fluker's products. For my crickets, I gut load using natural foods. A combination of fresh greens (same greens I would feed my dragon), fish flakes, fresh cut potatoe, orange, carrots or squash as a water source. With the flakes I also add a bit of multivitamin and calcium powder. Other things I have fed crickets are bearded dragon pellets, crushed low fat catfood, powdered skim milk, oats and other grains.
