Am i ready to order my RETF finally?

porkchop48 Dec 06, 2005 06:27 AM

i think i have the tank all set up. i has a ten gallon tank in the bottom. it has two "turtle docks" in case a frog falls in and a few different pond plants growing up out of the water also in case of a frog falling in. I have a couple different plants big/ tall and little. some drift wood for climbing. some vines ( will add more as i am able to find them) Also i found a log in the wood that has alot of moss growing on it so i put that in there. All the shelves have vining plants on them for stuff to climb on. the temp stays about 82 in the day and about 74-76 at night with plenty of spots to get up closer to the light s or to avoid them. what else do i need to do? thansk guys i want to order them after the first of the year i was thinking about getting 15 of them would that be too many in that tank. tank is 6x5x2.5

That all sounds good. The water in the bottom is not needed but I'm sure it looks nice.

The only thing I would be concerned about is the log you found in the woods. All wood collected from outdoors should be sterilized by heating in the oven at 200-225 degrees F or boiling. Unfortunately this will probably destroy or kill the moss growing on it.
