AWE I can't wait titll mine can breed
She is ssssooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo CUTE!
it feels really good changing the 1:1 ratio to a 1:2 (since she was incubated at 82 degrees i am pretty sure she is a female)...now I have Phoenix, Beanie, and Pixie (as well as another baby that will be hatching any day now!!!

I know you were worried that you were doing something wrong. Great to know that you wern't, isn't it! WOW! Congratulations!!!
I'm waiting for my first one to hatch too. I started incubation on 5/28 at 81 deg. Should be any day now and I'm excited too. I have never seen a newborn... only the 1 month olds at petco and such. I realize a newbie is small but i'm looking forward to seeing how small!
I guess I should change my signature too!
I just adopted a 70 gram 10" male high yellow from a guy that wants to start breeding dragons and doesn't want to work the geckos too. That pots me to 12 leos and 11 eggs. Me thinks this can be expensive!!!

I assume you'll keep this little one as long as she lives
Keep updating us on her! Of course, post pictures of her as she grows into a high yellow or normal. Spotted normals are my favorites (I almost like them more than high-end morphs lol), and high yellows are gorgeous and always look different.

i was supposed to only be able to keep one of the babies, but i have have room for two more leos. so Pixie and her sister will end up staying with me (one will get the 10gal tank, the other will share the 20gal long tank with her mother once she is big enough).

1 male HY(Winky), 1 Tang female(Sunshine), and 1 Tremper Albino female(Serenity)
and she'll probably be in the tank by friday anyway. she'll have a bowl of small mealies and miner-all (in an arizona ice tea bottlecap) and a shallow lid of water so she and her sister should be fine. plus, there are plenty of hides and the UTH is all revved up and ready to go.

well, after Pixie's sister hatches, i have 2 eggs left cooking and so far they look like they will make it. when they were first laid, i was not sure if they would make it, but so far, they have not rotted and are doing well. so I may get three more hatchlings out of it!!!

Aren't leo babies just the cutest? I have a young leo named Pixie as well.
if she keeps up this wild behavior, she may be renamed Daredevil after the wild steed in Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow....lol. but for now she is Pixie.
