Never heard of it... Are you sure it isn't a name the pet shop gave it?

Ive never heard of a ruby freckled snow, and what phiber said most likely the pet store just gave it that name. When you said how special are they, that is different in many peoples eyes, but most of all every snake is special no matter what it is. Remember that.

by special i mean rare.

i did not get it from a pet store i got it from my cousin and i got it as a regular snow...

i heared of this phenomena 3 days ago from a website and it rang a bell

this is the website: http://www.serpwidgets.com/Morphs/Oddities/oddities.html

you are all more then welcome to run a google search for this value: Ruby-Freckled Snow

and since neither of u have heared it and because of lack of replies ill have to guess its pretty rare ;p

Every once in a while a snow will show up with a few red spots.
Some more then others.
I have seen them ranging from 9 or 10 to my snow, Galcier, who has 1 little red spot.

Jimmy,

I had a leucistic Texas ratsnake that developed the same sort of thing - a few small red/orange spots. One or two other people have told me that they've seen this in TRS as well.

interesting....
someone who knows abuot genetics and stuff should really delve into it imo..
if we were to find what causes this we could produce a new type of phenotype(?) gameplay :>

I know several snakes that have these little red dots . They where all either LTR's , snow or blizard corns all from different collections and had these small red dot's . Some had more then others but I personally wouldn't call it a morph . If the snake only has a few red dot's it's nothing out of the ordinary . If your snake keeps developing them then maybe your on to something . Do you think you could post a picture of these little red dots . Thanks and Good Luck .
