This is Cheyanne, she is my favorite normal female. Bred her 1 time this season to a pastel, but he never had any more interest. Was trying to decide if she was ovulating in this picture. She hasn't eaten in about 3 weeks, but looks alot bigger around in the midsection. Any thought?

She does look a little thick, but it's difficult to tell if that's ovulation from the pic. Don't quote me, but I don't think one time in the sack is enoughh to impregnate a snake either. Someone else may know better though. In most cases a snake is bred several times throughout the winter and they lay their eggs in the late spring and the eggs hatch in late summer, although I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule.

One of the two clutches i hatched last season came from a female that only locked once.Four eggs, but one was infertile(was not a dud).

So...maybe...good luck.
