when did you get him....I got this male from Tony last summer, born Nov 03.

This 1.1 is actually from Tony's New Locale pair. I have one male that is a sibling to your animal I think. That whole batch were awesome looking Northerns from Ed Marino. Here is a shot of my male.

Oh yeah, to answer the question...the New Locales were from his 2003 pair. I am pretty sure it is the same pair that produced this season. Some crazy animals this year!!

if that is your Ed Marino male then I am sure my male is a sib. I knew mine was brokered but not produced by T.N. and for some reason T.N. did not seem too eager to disclose who produced the clutch and I didnt delve further. I am glad to know now where it came from. Thanks. Here is another photo of my male taken a month or two ago. are they about the same size???

Hey Bud,

Glad you like that one! That batch was one od the nicest Northern batches, other than Rico's previous Ms. Willie batch, that I had ever seen! Just wish I had purchased another! Eddie actually has an unreal batch this year as well! My male looks a bit larger than yours but it's hard to tell. I can tell you he is about 1"-1+1/4" in diameter and is taking large mice or rat crawlers every 2 weeks. If you think these guys are nice, you should check out Tony's NLs from this year!! SCREAMERS!!! Here is a 2002 female HW Nothern I got from Eddie for that male.

very nice Phong. Like I said, you are accumulating a very impressive collection. I am glad I didnt see T.N.'s batch of NLs or I would be down a few bucks (LOL). I really love his high blacks. so impressive whether Northerns or Basins. Cant wait to see the high Black Basin offspring...I am sure they will all be holdbacks. here is my female that goes with my high white. What she lacks in markings she more than makes up for in persoanlity, appetite and girth. If I could only get her to defecate in her cage...she is one of those that has to be taken outdoors and hosed down....I am convinced she doesnt want to poop where she eats....Norm

Hey Norm,

Very nice! Is that female from Dave Toro? If so, I also have a female from his 2002 batch. She is turning out very much HY and has actually lightened up in coloration. Her green is just fading away. Here is an old shot of her. The dark areas around the markings are now lighter in color that the background coloration. The background coloration is even lighter yet. Just never know how these guys are going to turn out.

Phong, I really like that female of yours...great background color and the nice dark contrast against the markings. I especially love high yellow on any ETB...cream colored ventral just isnt as nice....
My female was from someone in Colorado and I cant even remember his name...It may have been Jeremy or something like that. He wasnt a bigtime ETB breeder but had some very nice adult ETBs and had alot of luck breeding them. BTW, she was 24 months at the time of this photo. Norm
