Wondering About My Ball and swimming

Hey
Everyone got an odd Question ive always let my snakes swim in the tub once a week well i got me a Ball Python and read up they like to swim also in mild to warm water well im here to tell you i have tryed twice now and putting her in the tub is like trying to wash a cat she goes completey Nuts anyone got any suggestions on what i need to do i love letting my snakes swim not only for excersize but it never fails they poop when in the warm water

you dont need to let them swim. making it to where they have to swim will sometimes even stress them out. ive been keeping my ball pythons for a year and a half and they are both very healthy snakes. your snakes will poop when they need too. if they ever not poop just put them in a tub of warm water about an inch deep and small enough to where they dont have too swim and they will also poop.

LOL yup, just try a little bit of water in the sink or a wash basin at first. Something small won't spook her so much. Very shallow so she doesn't have to swim to move around. Try it for short periods until she gets used to it. Balls aren't generally swimmers, they'd rather just soak, but they will if they need to.

ball pythons don't like water, prob why she goes nuts

moving around the cage is fine for a work or letting her out and watching her. They will also poop when they poop. some go often others hold it for weeks.
