A mouse question for Balls.

mdooli13 Dec 06, 2005 08:26 PM

Recently, I went to the pet store as usual to pick up a few mice for my snakes. Later when I got home I noticed one of the mice is missing a leg, and it looks like a recent wound at that. Is it safe to feed to my Ball? As in, is there a possibility of the wound being infected and thus passing the bacteria on to my Ball?

go for it........

recent wounds shouldn't be harboring that much bacteria and snake could probably handle it anyways......

.......make sure you take off the wooden leg first so it doesn't get stuck in the snake's throat.....

LMAO! nice... i wouldn't worry about th wound unless it looked infected, or your snake has been sick recently. They can usually deal with minor issues like that well with the right environment.
