O.k. I'm thinking of getting my brother a baby beardie for x-mas. I don't know anyone on that forum. I've found a good breader local, so I know about the food and vits and lighting, but what would you suggest as a "starter" cage? I mean for a baby, what is a good size to start off with? Any info, advice. He has a flap neck chameleon, that is meaner then heck, so I wanted to get him something that he can at least pick up, but I don't want to get him a snake, so I'm thinking a beardie would be cool. plus he lives with me, so I'll get to help raise the baby too!!

when I got him last April. He was fine in it. I put him into a small tub with the crickets so they would not run loose, he still eats them that way most fo the time (when he eats). I do recommned a temp gun if you do not already have one. I got mine when I got him so I could closely monitor his basking temps which need to be high (105-110) as a baby.
That is why I remember exactly when I moved him.
Sooooo, being the quick thinker that I am, I've also wanted a beardie...(hmmmm hope my fiance doesn't read this since he has put a stop to my collection) sooooooooo, if I get him one, and he does not want it, then it looks like I'm adopting it... get my draft.
