Green iguanas are CITES II. Does that say anything? I believe that CITES II are allowed to be bred and transported across state lines without permits, but exporting and importing require permits. Anyone buying or selling ANY reptile, however, should have reciepts, just in case a species goes to CITES I, becomes threatened or endangered, or is the subject of a ban (but can be grandfathered) during the lifetime of the animal.

Thanks for your response. Green Iguanas......yes, that speaks volumes. I agree with witholding receipts. Much better to be safe than sorry. Thanks again......
