So do snakes living in the North live longer than snakes in the south? And how exactly does hibernation work here in the south?? For example, I am in North Florida. Monday the high was around 80, the low mid 50's. Tuesday the high was 50 with the low at 32. Later this week the high is again suppose to be in the mid-70's. So how exactly is brumation suppose to work when the temps vary so much day to day? Just a curious wondering on my part. What are some of your thoughts?
