True. I bred parrots for years. Hatch 100's of them and each one was exciting. Same with the cresties. It's amazing. You wait anxiously to see what patterns they hatch with and how the develop along.

an oranged winged amazon, when I was a kid. The gray talked very well, amazingly well, he was sure something.

I have had cocketiels too, I find them to be such happy lil birds , so chipper, and colorful My husband can not stand the screaming they do, so I do not have birds anymore.

LOL!! Cockatiels are nothing!!! (I still have all of my retired breeders -- 28 birds). Eve you can borrow one of my macaws for a few days THEN your husband will beg you bring a cockatiel into the house.

my cocketiel was noisy , just did not bother me, seemed normal, but he was very spoiled and would seem to scream for you to come over to him, and then would stop. I thought it was very cute, my husband LOVED him, but said the continious noise he made to get attention, went right through his head like a sledge hammer, LOL

I was not married when I had the big noisey parrots. I loved them, and loved when they talked and yelled and did their little antics!

It must be really neat to have 28 of them to mess with. You must have some Beauties!

Post some pics someday soon!
