Truth or Rumor?!?!?!?

Co-dom (incomplete dominant) morphs with supers have clear bellies - but completely dominant morphs (with no super form) have mottled bellies?

Het Red's have mottled bellies and a super form... there goes your theory. Also womas have a weird mottled belly, atleast some do, yet another failure for your theory.

Exotics by Nature Dec 08, 2005 01:03 AM

Hello,

I read some of the other posts and someone mentioned Woma Balls as well as Het. Red Axanthics. I wanted to add that Spotnose animals also have a VERY mottled ventral pattern. The farthest from clear that I have seen on ANY inc/co dominant. My Woma Ball also has a lot of pattern. I can't comment on the Het. Red Axanthics since I don't own any but I'm sure about the Woma and Spotnose.

Oh well... wishful thinking! Good luck!

C'mon lucky Super Pin (a boy can hope!)...

Sean,
I can't wait for that Super Pin as well. It looks as if I am sitting right next to you on the craps table. Roll 'em good.

For the reasons stated above with the Woma and Spotnose. Also, I do own 4 Het. Red axanthics, their bellies are very "speckled" or "peppered". And yes, they are killer animals if you haven't seen them.

Thanks!

Correct me if im wrong. But you said dom forms have molted bellies with no super. Then that would mean spiders would have to have molted bellies b/c there hasnt been a super. Also Sables have a very peppered belly with black and yellow, and they have a super.

Yesterday I was discussing with another breeder a new project he is working on when he mentioned it (no not my theory by any means). Since he's been around the block much longer than I - I figured he had more knowledge on the subject. As I obviously haven't seen every morph belly out there it was hard to figure out if it was a fact or just a rumor.

Thanks to all for your input!
