Reputable Cypress Supply

garrowood Dec 07, 2005 09:50 PM

I am in the Saint Paul (Minnesota) and was wondering if any of you know of a good place around here to get cypress mulch, or what national chains you have had the best experiences with (i.e. who doesn’t have bugs in their mulch). I have tried aspen, now I am using reptile bark, but I just can’t keep the humidity anywhere near where it needs to be – leave it to the Minnesota winter. Cypress looks to be my best option. While my b/p’s last shed was successful, it took longer than I was comfortable with and he definitely needed soaking, with spraying his cage like three times a day. Any help would be appreciated!

I usually get mine from Lowes ... Any home and garden center should have it ... I can get a 3 cu ft bag for about 2$ ea. One bag will generally cover 14 - 21, 32 qt tubs ...
