Question about dirt substrate

idiotshot Dec 08, 2005 06:59 AM

For those of you who use a dirt mixture for live plant set-up, I was wondering where a good place to get potting soil was. I've looked at lowes and home depot for some that is just potting soil with no fertilizers and junk, but I've not seen any. I was also wondering if anyone has used the mixture mentioned in the Rhac book by Visjoli, Fast, and Repashy. It's the mix mentioned on page 29 for those playing along at home. For those who have used it, I was just wondering if it's easy to work with. Thanks.
