About how big should a yearling Hogg Island boa be?

voodoomagik Dec 08, 2005 09:55 AM

Hi, everybody. That's about it for my question. I know that there are many variables, but if you could give a range that would be great.
2-2.5 feet?
Thank you!

If it is a locality baby and fed in a proper manner. If it is a cross or power fed it could be 3-5 feet.

for crosses and those that are power fed. Possibly even up to 4 feet under those conditions.

Thank you so much, Laura.
I have a really killer 04 male hypo. I'm planning to breed him to a big normal I have and then want to give her every other year off. For my second female, I keep bouncing back and forth between breeding him to another normal or to a Hogg to make hypo Hoggs. What's your opinion on them?
