ok. I'm either going to buy a pair of het albinos or a pair of het piebalds. Which would be the better investment? I'm not going to breed any further than albino or piebald so I'm not looking to what I can breed them too down the line. I'm torn as to which I should go for so any info is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

If money is not an obsticle (pied hets are quite a bit more than albino hets) then I would go for pied hets from an established breeder - do your homework.

But it's pretty much a personal choice - which one do you like best?!?!?!

Maybe you can get a female het pied and a female het albino - then when they are big enough to breed - pick up the male counterparts and breed for both.

I prefer pieds, but that's me. why do you want either or? do you like a particular aspect of both? i like albinos, but i like piebalds a lot more, even though they are a bit more than albinos. you may want to ask if anyone in your area already is breeding or planning on breeding one or the other, and try to collaborate and trade with them. i would go with the pied. we are purchasing a het.mail from exotic by nature tomorow when i get paid.
