I think my 05 corn is ready for 2 pinks. Do I feed them one after the other (put them both in with her at the same time), do I put the second one in after it reaches her stomach, or do I wait a day or two inbetween the pinks??
Thanks!
Walt

From what I've read, Corn snakes only have a 10-15 minute feeding response. So, if its eating one and you have another in there, and its still hungry, it'll take it after the first one is down. If you wait too long after the first, it'll likely pass the second one.
I feed a couple of my larger snakes by placing 2 pinkies into their feeding container and then putting the snake to be fed in with them. Usually, they go for them one after the other.
The smallest get only 1 pinky. The largest get 1 fuzzy. Those that are in between, get 2 pinkies.
Thanks you guys. I'll try it next feeding.
She eats the first one lightning fast all the time and doesn't seem to have to stretch too much, so it probably won't be long for fuzzies. I think if she starts getting 2 pinks now a week it'll help get her ready.
Is there ever a problem getting them to go from pinks to fuzzies or fuzzies to hoppers, etc??
Walt
P.S. (this is an old pic)
It sometimes happens that they don't like the switch. But it is not often. What does commonly happen is that they will be slightly scared of the larger prey item, but this is usually only the first feeding or 2 after the switch.

I wondered the same thing. One day I tried giving him another pinky right after he got the first one down. He ignored it. After some experimenting, I found that if I wait for the first pink to get past the 7th splotch on my snake's back, he's ready for another
