yellow snow honduran?

sutorherp1 Dec 08, 2005 06:40 PM

Hey; I saw someone selling snakes that were linked to a snow that was completely yellow and white...it was just amazing. The snake was shown in the add in the classifieds. It may have been Terry Duhnam...but I could be mistaken. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or could anyone post the picture?

Here's a pic of it. Many get yellow as they age but i've never seen another with teh pairs of would-be-black rings with such sharp definition. Usually when there's a lot of ontogenic acquisition of yellow some yellow shows up in the other rings, too, so you don't see this paired-yellow-ring appearance.

Many albino hondos do gain yellow with age, as noted. The albino in the 2nd pic is a good example of that, and again it's got it on the would-be-black rings but not as much yellow suffusion elsewhere as is often seen.

Your right, I did'nt notice before but it looks like there's yellow tipping threw the whole snow as well as the yellow rings. Looks like tipping is a more desireable trait in snow hondos. Hey Terry any chance of taking some more photos of this snow?
Thanks

I am not sure I would use the name "yellow snow" Honduran as a selling hook! LOL
