HELP- my turtle laid an egg... in the water ?

suro Dec 08, 2005 10:27 PM

this morning i found an egg on the bottom of my aquarium, i was very suprised because i did not expect my turtles to start breeding because they are only 4 years old.

i have removed the egg but im afraid that i might have been too late

is there any chance of it surviving

there is only one egg and another really small one

any information would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

If the egg wasn't in the water for too long & it didn't get turned too much there is a chance for it to survive. The only way to know is to incubate it & see what happens.
Good luck!
