Quick genetics question.......(this one`s easy!)

Hello,

I`m thinking about getting another corn. I have got a female normal now and am looking at getting a male snow for possible breeding in the 2005 season.

If I bred these I can think of 2 possible outcomes for the offspring, are either of them right....

1. I get a chance of 50/50 normal/snow babys
2. I get 100% normal babys het for snow.

Am I anywhere near right? Thanks.

#2. Normals het snow. There's always the possibility of the female being het amel or anery (found out my amel was het anery this year), so you might get some surprises

We had a pair the other way around, male normal, and snow female. Their babies were a three way split of Snows, Anerys and normals. Apparently that means they could have Amels too, but it was only a small clutch of 9.

I now have 2 of their offspring, a normal female and an Anery male, and I've got 3 babies from them (problems with the incubating) one is normal, one is Anery and one snow.

Guess you could have a similar outcome.
