This is my first year of producing axanthics. Is this not a beautiful baby in the egg?

Check this egg out. I can see the baby in the egg and it looks ok!

Congratulations.
I had my first nipple deformity egg this year, almost exactly the same extent as yours. Unfortunately mine had a kinked baby in it. I'm wondering if it absorbed too much water early due to the nipple some how (and of course my having it too wet - but the rest of the clutch was fine). It’s just at one point I thought the nipple was going to pop so cut down on the humidity.
Only one out of egg. Het. The bad one has piped..looks ok so far.

It probably is ok. Mine was kinked and never piped or stuck it's head out after I cut even though it was still alive then. If yours pipped on it's own I bet mom did a good job as usual.
