i am going out to petco today to get some more mealies for my leos as well as some baby crickets for Pixie for later on. i am afraid the mealies will be too big for her to handle. i was thinking of cutting them in half for her first week or two to make them easier to handle, but since i am going away i won't be able to cut the mealies in half....the petco mealies are timberline mealies, and they are sometimes small and other times they are larger. plus i have some smaller waxies as a treat...how often can i give Pixie a waxie?

i am going to be moving Pixie out of the incubator this evening after i get back from petco. is that okay? or would it be better to let her sit in her deli cup until tomorrow morning??? sorry for all the questions, i just want to make her as comfortable as possible because she looks so delicate.

Cleo,
Try to feed the just molted ones. You would be suprized how large a mealie they can eat. Leos don't seem to have the problems that baby dragans do when feeding to large a prey item. If you feed one or two you will be fine.
good luck
