Why is this so common???????

Ryan Shackleton Dec 09, 2005 09:23 PM

Anyone know why it is that among rattlesnake roundup souvenirs rattlesnakes(livebearers) are so commonly stuffed coming out of ceramic eggs? Quite an idiotic joke in my opinion, but that's just me. Is it simple redneck idiocy that causes this? Frankly, my mother, who hates snakes, knew rattlers were livebearers before I told her.(we were discussing an envelope of "rattlesnake eggs). Not to mention the fact that the heads coming out of these eggs(supposed to be hatchlings) came from 2-3 foot snakes.

Great observation. I guess this just falls under the definition of "art". Those rattlesnake eggs in an envelope are pretty cool.
