Baby snapper please help!

bunke10 Dec 09, 2005 09:38 PM

My boyfriend just got a baby common snapper who ate a bunch of crickets the first night we got him but now won't eat much if anything. He offered hin snall crickets, pellets, small meal worms, and dried shrimp. Sometimes when he does eat he throws the food back up a couple mins later whole. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

what is the setup like? most likely it has something to do with that, possibly too cold. have you had water turtles before? please explain everything about the setup. include exact type of light and filter, tank size, water temp, basking temp, water depth, EVERYTHING. please dont just say, corect temp or anything like that, what you may think or was told was right may be far from what actually is.
