Here are in my opinion two examples of the nicest Bolivian amarali anywhere.

The OC was produced in '04 by Kevin Barnett and the Blonde was produced in '03 by Barry Miller. Thanks guys

They both have a great pedigree and looks to boot. I hope to pick up a pair similar to yours eventually. Great Stuff!

I might have babies from them in the summer of 2008.
Kevin tried for OCs last year and got slugs (new male), and I think he is giving them another try.
I think Barry may be pairing up some of his breeders to make more Blondes, not sure.
I want to get some Peruvians like these and work the same type of project.
Thanks for the compliments, with locale boas you need the best!
You can't see which is the OC and which is the Blonde. Take more photos, they are fabulous Amarali. I entirely adore the Bolivians.
Nothing shows off the colors of Bolivians like light (flash/sunlight). I myself have purchased a very clean and bright pink/coral pair of bolivians for my X-mas present to myself.
I'd like to see your pair in proper light, if possible.

The first three pictures are of the OC, and the last three of the Blonde. The Blonde was a little dark when I was taking pictures. The OC is just starting to pull in color, the Blonde was almost 2 years old before she changed from her light gray to Blonde.
Like all boas they change colors, and the pictures are a very good representation of their current appearance (at the time of the photo).
Thanks.
you can see why I like your Peruvian litter so much
nice pair chris,,,,,but i gotta know,,, is your substrate coffee beans?? does that make them hyper, lol! heres 2.1 of my BCA (i have a 3.4 group currently) the first is very lite female from ,i believe ,gulf coast reptile that i got in trade. the second is a 2002 kevin barnet OC male, that had the most red i had ever seen on a snake as a baby but this one (and the female) lost it as they got older (not sure if they all do), the last pic is a 2002 barry miller "purple phase" that is my favorite of my 3 BCA males. thanks, john yocum
they often darken, but yours is very beautiful.
Those are purple pebbles in the pictures, used for photos only.
