Orange Belly Ball Python - Proven! (pics inside)

bristen Dec 10, 2005 12:39 PM

My Orange Belly Ball Python has prove to be perfectly normal as expected hehe We noticed she was starting a shed cycle on Nov 29th.. she shed a few days ago... the orange came completely off with the shed... Not a surprise, but the comments online and the emails I received, I thought for a moment I might have stumbled on something interesting! Anyways, to the pictures!

Da Shed (first without flash, second with flash):

Da Belly:

ps: must of been the lizard sand stuff that Kevin from NERD said it could of been...

Thanks for the interest!

Bristen.

I picked up an unusual import in '03. She always looked very
green (...I've dubbed her an Olive ball...unproven). There was
a period of about 6 months where she turned extremely
green (almost like a highlighter pen) in color. She actually
held this color for 2 shed cycles, which really adds to the
mystery. I've attached a pic of her shed. To date, she
hasn't produced for me, so I have no idea on the genetics.
She definitely has a different look to her though...we'll see.
