Most babies are nippy at this age (which is actually a good thing when you want them feeding). They settle down as they get older. If you're going to have a tame one, it will be tame for the most part. From what I've read and seen, they either are, or they aren't. They don't really tame down with handling like most species. Of course, these snakes aren't usually handled as much. They are more of an "ornamental" type. That said, my yearling is very tame and my little baby seems to be relatively mellow. I take it out on the perch for pictures, and it will crawl onto my hand. I usually don't do too much with it, mainly just take the pictures, weigh it, and take a picture next to an object for measuring it. I have a nice program that I use for that.My yearling I'll take out at least once a week, sometimes more. She seems to enjoy being out to see the world. I even trust her with children she's so laid back. They love her colors and soft skin.
