i am upset by the number of ppl with basic husbandry problems posting on here. i know the link below is available above on this page, but i want to make it more visible.
for the seasoned vets, this post isnt for you. you know this stuff probably better than i do.

before i even got my first bp, i went onto this site and read it thouroughly 2 times to be sure i didnt miss anything, and i ask any ppl unsure of how to care for their bps to do the same.
my snakes live by the information on this page. it isnt a suggestion, it is the absolute basics and you bps will suffer if you dont follow these.
the care guidlines on here are not debatable, or able to be played with. they are the absolute basics in care, and all of these points MUST be met. if you dont your bp will have health problems, and will either die or cost you alot in vet bills( exotics vets are not cheap or easy to find and most vets only get a few hours training for reptiles. the average vet is clueless on snake health, so find a good exotics vet near where you live.)
my bps are all healthy and i attribute it to the fact that i follow the guidelines on this link
so anyone new to bps, unsure on husbandry, or thinking about getting one, please enter this link.

ps if you are thinking about getting a bp, i recomend them, they are great pets, and are fairly simple to care for. however make sure you can afford at least 1 rat a week, and the propper housing. get all you need for your new bp, set it up, adjust it then get your new snake, dont get it all at once, the habitat needs to get up to temp before bringing in your snake, and moving stuff around will just stress your already stressed snake even more.
